My shower pressure dropped suddenly. What causes it?

On the post-war homes it is usually a failing mixer cartridge or scale build-up in the shower head. Both are straightforward fixes, and the valve gets checked over while we are there.

Do you install freestanding baths?

Yes. A freestanding bath needs a floor-standing waste rather than the wall outlets older bathrooms were built around, so the new waste goes in before the floor finish goes down.

Is a burst flexi hose really an emergency?

It is. Braided hoses let go without warning and dump water straight into a cupboard or floor. Isolate the tap under the basin if you can, then call straight away.

Can you match new fixtures to an older bathroom?

Generally yes. We fit the fixtures you have chosen, and where existing pipework or stop taps on the older homes are past it, that gets flagged in plain terms first.
